At the Apparthotel Samson, you stay in the best location - directly in the town center. Our goal is to make you feel completely comfortable from the very first moment. Here you will find all the important information for your stay, so you can fully concentrate on what matters most: The snow, the sun, and the mountains around Obertauern. Sit back, enjoy the freedom of our apartments or comfort rooms, and experience carefree holiday days right in the ski area.

Is there breakfast at the Apparthotel Samson or can you cook for yourself?

Both! In the Samson Apartments you have a fully equipped kitchen and can self-cater very flexibly. Additionally, as an apartment guest, you can either use our roll service or, upon request, book breakfast at Hotel Wagner for € 22,-.

Those who have booked a room at Hotel Samson start the day with the breakfast buffet (from 08:00 to 10:00) at the house, with fresh pastries, cold cuts, fruit, and coffee. Breakfast is included in the room rates.

Is there a wellness area?

Yes, our guests relax after an active day in the snow in the in-house sauna, in the steam bath or in the infrared cabin. The wellness area is available to you free of charge daily and is open from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Ideal for recharging energy and relaxing muscles.

Hotel rooms: Yes, breakfast is usually included in the price when staying in a hotel room.

Apartments: No breakfast is included in our apartments. However, you can use our roll service or add breakfast at the Hotel Wagner for an additional charge upon request.

The Apparthotel Samson is centrally located in Obertauern, just a few meters from the ski lifts. The modernized apartments offer plenty of space, a fully equipped kitchen, and the freedom to organize the day at one's own pace. Guests appreciate the combination of independence and hotel comfort - ideal for families, couples, or friends who want to experience Obertauern flexibly.
Yes, at the Apparthotel Samson, dogs are warmly welcome upon request. Please inform us at the time of booking if you are arriving with your four-legged friend. A small cleaning fee of € 35,- per day (without food) applies.

In our other accommodations, no pets are allowed, only at the Apparthotel Samson.

For a Relaxed Stay

Check-In: 
  •  Hotel rooms are available on the day of arrival from 3:00 PM.
  • Apartments are ready for you from 4:00 PM.
Check-Out: Please return your room or apartment by no later than 10:30 AM on the day of departure so that we can prepare everything for the next guests.

If you are arriving by car, you will find free parking spaces directly at the hotel – so you can arrive in a relaxed and stress-free manner.

Arriving and Feeling Good

  • Check-In – Your room will be available from 15:00 on the arrival day.
  • Check-Out – On the departure day, the room must be vacated by 10:30.

Cancellation & Travel Insurance

Sometimes something comes up - we understand that. 
Please note the following cancellation conditions: 
  • Up to 21 days before arrival the deposit is forfeited.
  • From 21 days before arrival, delayed arrival, or earlier departure we will charge 90% of the room price.
  • Cancellations always  in writing please!
The hotel is centrally located in the village center of Obertauern, directly on the ski slope, in Salzburg Land. You can easily reach us by car via the B99 Katschbergstraße or by public transport via the Radstadt train station and the bus to the stop "Obertauern Passhöhe".
Yes, in most of our room rates, the breakfast buffet is already included. Enjoy fresh pastries, coffee, and tea - perfect for an energizing start to your ski day.

Yes, a local tax and mobility fee will be charged separately for your stay.
To ensure you are covered in case of emergencies, we recommend a travel cancellation insurance. You can conveniently purchase this online from the European Travel Insurance.
